Torch Technologies, Inc. has an exciting opportunity for a Financial Manager, Journeyman at Hanscom AFB, MA. You will manage budgets, perform forecasts, and support cost analyses for the AFLCMC/ES program within the ESS Division.

The role requires US citizenship, a related degree, and active Secret clearance, with experience in DoW funding and financial systems. Onsite work at Hanscom AFB, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen required.
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a related field and 3+ years of DoW experience.
• Must have FMS experience.
• Ability to collaborate across teams and communicate financial insights to senior leadership.
• Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills.
• Ability to work under short deadlines and adapt to evolving priorities.
• Knowledge of financial analysis techniques, DoW acquisition requirements, and budget formulation/execution processes.
• Understanding of DoW contracting types, structures, and funding clauses.
• Experience with financial systems such as CCaRS, CRIS, WAWF, FM Suite, and others.
• Must maintain an active Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare program budgets, reports, and financial documentation; analyze data and recommend solutions.
• Perform budget forecasting, variance analysis, execution reporting, schedule analysis, and EVM assessments; provide recommendations.
• Identify accounting discrepancies and ensure accurate financial records.
• Use automated financial management systems for data analysis, reporting, and decision support.
• Compile division-level financial materials for metrics, audits, and internal controls.
• Develop program-specific funds management documentation and financial control models.
• Prepare financial briefings for BERs, IBRs, PMRs, and other reviews.
• Draft and submit procurement documents and POMs.
• Generate reports on approved/deferred/released funds and correct posting errors.
• Maintain an independent audit trail for funding documents.
