The Financial Manager is responsible for the financial operations of the UWSP Foundation and its subsidiaries including financial management activities, administration of Foundation account charters, producing or supervising the creation of financial reports, performing reconciliations, special projects, maintaining and updating procedure manuals, data management and overall operational support, maintaining, and updating software for the Foundation.
This Financial Manager reports directly to the Director of Advancement. To ensure internal control, this position also has a secondary supervisor - the UWSP Vice Chancellor for Advancement – UWSP Foundation CEO/Executive Director. This position supervises minimally 2.0 full-time equivalent (FTE) employees as well as the Foundation-funded gift‑processing consultants (when they are contracted by the Foundation).

$60,000-80,000, based on qualifications and experience. Relocation assistance is available for this position.
The mission of the UWSP University Advancement Department is to strengthen relationships with university stakeholders and manage engagement by telling the UWSP Story and fundraising activities to secure resources and support for the university’s mission and vision.
University Advancement works to increase the resources available to the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point by generating philanthropic interests and volunteer support.
Advancement oversees activities of the UWSP Alumni Association, Major Gift Officers, development and the UWSP Foundation.
