Genesis10 is seeking a Financial Management Professional for an onsite, 5-month contract with a major financial institution in McLean, VA. The role sits on the Master Data Management team and focuses on supplier onboarding, data validation, and maintaining supplier records in Workday.

You will review W-9s and banking documents, assist with tax reporting, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure data accuracy, regulatory compliance, and efficient supplier lifecycle

Qualifications

• Degree in finance, accounting, business, information systems, or related field.
• 2+ years in a data-focused role with data quality and MDM experience.
• Experience in financial services, supplier management, accounts payable or procurement.

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Financial Management Professional - Onsite position with a Major Financial Institution located in McLean, VA. This is a 5-month contract opportunity.
Compensation: $27.00 per hour, W2, based on qualifications
Position Overview:
This position will join the Master Data Management (MDM) team, responsible for supporting the governance, maintenance, and integrity of supplier master data in Workday. The role involves supplier onboarding and maintenance, review and validation of supplier documentation, IRS TIN matching, tax reporting support, and customer service activities related to supplier records. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support supplier onboarding, maintenance, data validation, tax reporting activities, and process improvement initiatives
• Ensure data accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
• Apply professional principles, theories, and concepts related to supplier master data management, data governance, and operational processes
• Develop resolutions to problems of limited scope by following established procedures and guidelines
• Partner with business stakeholders and suppliers to ensure data quality, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency throughout the supplier lifecycle

Primary Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in a data focused role with experience in Master Data Management, data entry, and data quality
• Experience in financial services, supplier management, accounts payable, procurement operations, or related business functions
• Experience reviewing and validating business documentation, including W-9 forms, banking documentation, and supplier onboarding records
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office applications
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer service focus
• Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this positio

Desired Skills:

• Experience using ERP systems; Workday experience preferred
• Accounting knowledge or experience
• 1099 experience
