Job Overview

NuvoLogic Consulting is seeking a junior-level Consultant to support financial management projects across various public sector clients. The Consultant will assist senior team members with financial analysis, process evaluation, due diligence, and preparing reports and presentations for decision-makers. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Please note: This position is contingent upon project award and funding.

Responsibilities and Duties

1. Conduct research and gather data to support program and project initiatives.
2. Assist in preparing reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
3. Perform ad hoc analysis and support special projects as needed.
4. Assist with financial analysis and the development and maintenance of quantitative models.
5. Perform due diligence on potential investments, including financial and industry analysis.
6. Collaborate with team members to develop innovative solutions and recommendations.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in finance, consulting, or related areas.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with financial modeling and forecasting.
• Experience with data analytics and visualization tools.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as VBA, R, Python, or SAS.
