Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking an experienced analytics professional to transform DoW Financial Management through data-driven insights and analytical solutions. You will leverage business and technical expertise to develop tools and processes, delivering visibility and informed recommendations within a supportive team environment.

You’ll mentor peers, advise on BI strategy, and help implement predictive analytics across data platforms for DoW budgeting and financial execution.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in fiscal and data analysis, budgeting, and project management within the DoD.
• Knowledge of the budget execution process at the Service or Department level.
• Ability to synthesize data and configure dashboards for executive leadership.
• Secret clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Advise on using BI data for predictive analytics and implementing new tools in Advana or similar data analytics platform.
• Administer quantitative and qualitative modeling techniques to support end-to-end reporting and decision-making applications for the DoW Comptroller.
• Guide Data Engineers and Developers on analytical best practices for data collection, aggregation, and analysis.
• Analyze and process data to develop critical financial management insights.
• Mentor team members and provide guidance on analytics projects.

What You’ll Do:

As a business analytics specialist on our team, you’ll:

• Advise on using business intelligence data for predictive analytics and facilitating implementation of new tools within Advana or a similar data analytics platform.
• Administer quantitative and qualitative modeling techniques to data through customer coordination, supporting end-to-end development of reporting and decision making applications for the DoW Comptroller.
• Advise Data Engineers and Developers to assist with analytical best practices for data collection, aggregation, normalization, and analysis.
• Analyze and process data to develop important financial management insights.
• Mentor and provide guidance to fellow team members.
• Provide business clients with detailed, actionable reports documenting the findings from data processing and data analysis for DoW financial management and budget execution.

You Have:

• 10+ years of experience in fiscal and data analysis, budgeting, and project management within the DoD
• Knowledge of the budget execution process at the Service or Department level

• Certified Defense Financial Manager Certification

Nice If You Have:

• 3+ years of experience with data analytics in the Advana or similar platform
• Master's degree in Accounting

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
