The Pentagon Force Protection Agency (PFPA) is a defense agency that falls under the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD). PFPA's mission is to provide force protection, security, and law enforcement as required for the people, facilities, infrastructure, and other resources on the Pentagon Reservation and for Department of Defense (DoD) activities and DoD occupied facilities not under the jurisdiction of a Military Department within the National Capital Region (NCR). This responsibility includes physical security, antiterrorism and force protection, chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and explosive (CBRNE) protection and other key functions. In order to fully respond to the responsibilities of the mission, PFPA requires a wide range of non- personal services in support of the current and evolving PFPA Divisions.
The contractor shall perform Systems Operations and Maintenance and Enhancement Services, to include technical, administrative, and professional services for the purposes of sustaining and optimizing financial management operations for the Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI) user agency community.
- Position Overview: We are seeking a Lead Financial Management Analyst Support professional to join our team. This critical role will provide advanced financial analysis and support to key Department of Defense (DoD) operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting, programming, and budgeting, with extensive experience supporting DoD headquarters, major commands, and unit-level organizations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide on-site contractor support as a Lead Financial Management Analyst to assist the PFPA FM Officer.
- Manage the development, compilation, reconciliation, and review of financial reports, tasks, and deliverables.
- Deliver on-site DAI Help Desk support, including creating and de-conflicting unique DAI Project Names, Project Numbers, Descriptions, POETS, and Task Numbers to ensure proper appropriation in Hyperion and DAI.
- Ensure compliance with DoD Financial Management Regulations (FMR) and National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) guidelines for financial record storage.
- Act as a subject matter expert in accounting, programming, and budgeting across multiple levels of the DoD organizational structure.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to improve financial processes and resolve discrepancies effectively.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance from an accredited university or college.
- Active Secret Security Clearance.
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, including:
- Roles at DoD headquarters (CJCS, SAF/FM, NAVCOMPT, ABO), major commands (MAJCOM/MACOM, EUCOM, etc.), system commands, and unit/base-level organizations.
- Broad expertise in accounting, programming, and budgeting.
- 3-5 years of experience in financial record storage compliant with DoD FMR and NARA regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or higher in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance from an accredited university or college.
- At least 3 additional years of experience with financial record storage per DoD FMR and NARA guidelines.
