Qualifications

• To be eligible for the GS-7 level, you must have at least one full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-06 level in Federal service.
• Specialized experience includes communicating with debtors on payment plans and procedures regarding financial litigation; processing debt collection for criminal and/or civil debts; drafting letters, forms, and reports to initiate debt collection.

Responsibilities

• For GS-8 level, specialized experience includes performing internal control audits of financial litigation and/or debt collection; investigating financial assets and transactions and analyzing information from debtors; interpreting and enforcing judgments in criminal and/or civil cases related to financial litigation.
