Job summary

RiseBoro is seeking a Financial Coach to support its Level Up! Economic Empowerment Program. The role involves delivering free, one-on-one financial counseling at a DCWP Office of Financial Empowerment site in Central Brooklyn, helping New Yorkers manage money, build credit, reduce debt, and save.

You will work with a team to offer personal finance education, budgeting, banking guidance, and debt management strategies in a client-centered model.

Qualifications

• Experience in personal finance management or financial counseling preferred.
• Ability to conduct effective client trainings and workshops.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills in a diverse setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one financial coaching to clients, helping them reach goals.
• Hold a minimum of 20 meetings per week with clients to improve financial security.
• Record client data accurately in case management software.
• Lead financial coaching workshops and transition attendees to 1-on-1 sessions.
• Collaborate with staff and partners to expand financial literacy outreach.
