Job summary

Legendary Wealth Builders is seeking a Financial Education Curriculum Specialist to support a NYC-based project serving high school students, parents, and financial educators. You will help turn complex financial concepts into engaging, accessible learning materials and assist with workshop testing and educator training.

You will develop lesson plans, presentations, activities, and facilitator guides, ensuring content aligns with standards and is culturally responsive.

Qualifications

• Experience developing or delivering financial education, personal finance workshops, or related learning programs.
• Experience creating lesson plans, presentations, activities, or facilitator guides.
• Ability to explain financial concepts clearly to youth and adult audiences.
• Strong writing, communication, organization, and facilitation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and virtual meeting platforms.
• Ability to work independently, collaborate with a team, and meet deadlines.
• Commitment to inclusive and culturally responsive education.

Responsibilities

• Develop lesson plans, presentations, participant activities, assessments, and facilitator guides for financial education workshops.
• Create clear, culturally responsive content on topics including financing education, consumer protection, debt management, and credit building.
• Incorporate financial education standards, accessible teaching practices, and project requirements into workshop materials.
• Support workshop testing, gather feedback, and revise materials based on findings.
• Assist with train-the-trainer sessions and provide support to financial educators.
• Conduct or support workshop observations and document recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate with the project lead and team to meet deadlines and maintain high-quality deliverables.
