Job summary

Wealthspire Advisors in Madison, WI is seeking a Financial Education Coordinator to support retirement plan education for plan participants. You will coordinate educational meetings, prepare participant materials, and help communicate plan benefits and retirement concepts clearly.

Work closely with Financial Professionals and internal teams to promote participant engagement, deliver effective education, and provide operational support for the ongoing financial wellness program.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating financial education programs for plan participants.
• Bilingual Spanish is a plus.
• Financial background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle support functions for the client’s financial well-being initiative and manage inquiries.
• Manage meeting input and availability in the RPAG system.
• Schedule ad hoc meetings with Financial Professionals and input data into client records.
• Support ongoing calendar of events and provide vital information for appointments.
• Produce promotional materials for events (email campaigns, flyers, etc.).
• Coordinate relationship management activities and conduct implementation and status calls.

Summary of the Role

The Financial Education Coordinator is responsible for supporting the delivery and coordination of retirement plan education programs for plan participants. This role partners closely with advisors, internal teams, and plan sponsors to coordinate educational meetings, prepare participant materials, and ensure clear, accurate communication of plan benefits and retirement concepts. The coordinator plays a key role in promoting participant engagement, improving understanding of 401(k) plans, and supporting overall financial wellness initiatives through effective education and operational support.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Handles all support functions for the client’s financial well-being initiative. This includes ordering employee incentive items as needed, accurately recording costs, and supervising information. This also includes servicing general email and voicemail boxes on an ongoing basis and completing all tasks related to incoming calls and emails
• Manages meeting input and availability in the RPAG system
• Schedules ad hoc meetings for employee with their assigned Financial Professional as needed. This includes supervising receipt of meeting summaries and accurately inputting data into client records
• Supports the team of Financial Professionals to provide an ongoing calendar of events and all vital information for scheduled appointments
• Produces promotional materials for scheduled events. This will include email campaigns, flyers, and other materials as needed by clients
• Handles relationship management activities with new and/or existing clients. This includes coordinating and conducting implementation calls, bi-weekly status calls, and ongoing oversight of each client’s financial wellness program

• Business Sense - Knowledge, insight, and understanding of business ideas, tools, and processes needed to make sound decisions for the company. Ability to apply this knowledge accurately in various situations.
• Client Relationship Management - Knowledge and ability to determine and satisfy client needs and maintain a partnering relationship during engagements
• Customer Experience Management - Implements the strategies and techniques used to ensure that customers have a positive experience with the organization and its products and services at every touch point
• Decision Making and Critical Thinking - Understanding of the issues related to the decision-making process; ability to analyze situations fully and accurately, and reach productive decisions
• Effective Communications - Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools, and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs. Ability to read and understand details, directions, and tasks resulting from written communication from colleagues
• Bilingual - Spanish is a big plus

The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
