Job summary

Wealthspire, a leading wealth management and retirement advisory firm, is seeking a Retirement Plan Administrator to serve clients across the United States. You will establish client relationships, perform compliance reviews, and coordinate data for client meetings.

You will analyze plan investments, support reporting, and work with senior staff to deliver thoughtful retirement solutions. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in finance/business, 5+ years of retirement plan administration,

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; experience in retirement plan administration a plus.
  • 5+ years in retirement plan administration and consulting; credentials a plus.
  • Strong oral, written, interpersonal and computer skills; highly organized.

Responsibilities

  • Establish, maintain and nurture client relationships with decision makers.
  • Perform compliance reviews and communicate issues to clients.
  • Schedule and attend regular client meetings to assess needs.
  • Advise clients on complex retirement plan issues and solutions.
  • Coordinate data collection and presentation for client meetings.
  • Analyze plan investments and support internal reporting for retirement.
  • Collaborate with staff and management to execute plans and add value.
  • Represent Wealthspire services and deliver expert retirement guidance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The below statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to do this job. The below is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities and duties.Perform other duties as assigned or required.

  • Establish, maintain, and nurture client relationships (front line and decision makers).
  • Act as a resource on any compliance issues, perform compliance reviews and communicate compliance issues to client.
  • Proactively schedule and attend regular meetings with clients to ensure clients’ needs are continually being met.
  • Independently consult and advise with clients on complex retirement plan issues.
  • Address, resolve, follow-up and communicate resolutions to clients
  • Responsible for coordinating data collection and presentation preparation for client meetings.
  • Conduct investment analysis on plan investment options.
  • Manage all internal reporting/tracking components required of the retirement department
  • Exercise positive interaction and cooperation with internal staff and senior management.
  • Participate in team assignments and special projects as needed
  • Operate in accordance with established Wealthspire internal protocol and procedures.
  • Understand and represent the services provided by Wealthspire, provide expert advice, develop solutions for current and future project plans, execute strategies to consistently illustrate value and retain existing clients

General:

  • Provide progress reports as needed
  • Manage all internal reporting/tracking components required of the retirement department including electronic and hard copy file maintenance, etc.
  • Attend and participate in internal meetings as needed.
  • Exercise positive interaction and cooperation with internal staff and senior management.
  • Participate in team assignments and special projects as needed.
  • Exhibit a willingness to take on new projects and responsibilities.
  • Share knowledge and experience with staff.
  • Operate in accordance with established Wealthspire internal protocol and procedures.
  • Understand and represent the services provided by Wealthspire, provide expert advice, develop solutions for current and future project plans, execute strategies to consistently illustrate value and retain existing clients.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a specialized field such as accounting, business, finance, other related field. Experience in lieu of degree will be considered.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of directly related work experience in the field of retirement plan administration and consulting. Possession of industry-specific designations and credentials is a plus; Microsoft Office skills required.
  • Effective oral, written, interpersonal and computer software skills. Proven organizational and problem-solving skills. Communicate interactively with team members and other support staff.
  • A sense of urgency and a commitment to timely completion of projects. Attention to detail along with a commitment to quality and confidentiality. Demonstrate ability to provide quality customer service and manage multiple tasks simultaneously with a high degree of accuracy.

What We Offer:

We're proud to offer a competitive salary, PTO & paid holidays, 401(k) with match, and more. The base salary range for this position is $75,000 to $132,000. The base salary offered will be determined by factors including, but not limited to, experience, credentials, education, certifications, skill level required for the position, the scope of the position, and geographic location. Actual base salary offered will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
