Job summary

Hilco Global is seeking a financial due diligence professional to perform detailed analyses for asset-based financing and proposed M&A targets. You will conduct management interviews, review receivables and inventory, and assess related controls, gaining exposure to diverse industries.

The role offers collaboration with senior client stakeholders in a fast-paced environment, with up to 50% travel primarily within North America and opportunities to develop both technical and client-facing

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; CPA preferred.
Two plus years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, audit, or related fields.
Advanced Excel skills and strong Word/PowerPoint proficiency; other data tools a plus.
Strong communication, integrity, and attention to detail.
Ability to travel up to 50%, mainly within North America.

Responsibilities

Perform financial due diligence, field examinations, and specified procedures for asset-based financing targets.
Conduct management interviews and analyze accounts receivable, inventory, trade payables and other data.
Evaluate receivables and inventory controls and inspect facilities across retail, wholesale, and manufacturing.
