Overview:

SRMH Hahn Cancer Center is hiring a Financial Coordinator III.

The Financial Coordinator III partners with ancillary departments to provide patient-specific education on insurance benefits for imaging and outpatient services. They track TPA funding, serve as the point of contact for patient billing questions, and work with the revenue cycle team to resolve billing issues. Responsibilities include submitting patient claims, applying for financial assistance, ensuring funds are posted accurately, and updating patients about funding status. The role also involves liaising with pharmaceutical representatives regarding drug and co-pay assistance programs.

Education
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
  • An healthcare certification from an accredited program or a Bachelor's degree can substitute for two years of experience
Certification/Licensure

No specific requirements

Experience
  • Healthcare Experience - 5 years (Required)
  • Experience in social services, financial counseling, or charity application processing (Required)
  • Knowledge of uncompensated care and Medicaid guidelines
Additional Skills

Experience with Talroo-Allied Health, financial assistance processing, and customer service.
