Job summary

The Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller, Palm Beach County in Florida is seeking a Financial Coordinator to join the Accounts Payable team. This role emphasizes organization, attention to detail, and time management while coordinating and delegating unit tasks.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree plus 5 years relevant experience required; in lieu of a degree, 2 years direct related work experience and 3 years supplemental experience.

Responsibilities

• Confers with internal/external entities to resolve minor payable/project issues.
• Participates in financial systems development, testing, and training for upgrades and changes.
• Researches record retention requirements and foreign vendor tax withholding.
• Maintains and updates department logs, records, and accounts.
• Prepares transaction logs and routine documentation; generates reports and statements.
• Provides training and guidance on accounting processes to other staff.
• Handles records printing, copying, filing, and responses to Public Records Requests.
