Job summary

10 Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center is seeking a Financial Coordinator to oversee day-to-day financial operations within the division, coordinate workloads with peers, and serve as the primary financial contact.

You will analyze monthly variances from budget, assist with capital budget requests, manage revenue cycle activities, and help optimize provider compensation, with dashboards and data visuals supporting leadership. This is a full-time role based in the United States.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.

Responsibilities

  • Acts as the primary financial contact for their area and disseminates information as appropriate.
  • Analyzes monthly variance between actual results and budget and makes recommendations as appropriate.
  • Assists Directors with preparation of capital budget requests for clinics.
  • Assists in managing the revenue cycle process for area providers and clinics.
  • Assists in the oversight of provider compensation.
  • Ensures accuracy of provider compensation statements and bonus calculations.
  • Assists with new provider contracts and monitors renewal dates for current providers.
  • Assists with the completion of pro-forma analysis for potential product/service lines.
  • Delivers meaningful financial information to providers and administrative leaders in a timely and consistent manner.
  • Develops solutions that optimize financial outcomes of provider practices.
  • Leads efforts to improve the financial performance of their area through revenue enhancement and cost reduction strategies.
  • Maintains dashboards for clinics and providers and works to improve data analytics and visuals within the division.
  • Monitors productivity standards for clinic locations.
  • Oversees leases and lease arrangements for the area.
  • Oversees the other financial coordinators and assigns projects and workloads to each.
  • Oversees the preparation of annual operating budgets for all practices.
  • Serves as a liaison for the area with Managed Care contracts, including Illinois Health Connect.
  • Works closely with the Coding Coordinator to ensure medical coding is timely and accurate.
