Overview

Financial Controller to lead accounting and financial operations in a fast-paced, high-growth, AI-driven AdTech environment. Whether you’re a seasoned finance leader or someone who has been closely involved in building and scaling accounting operations and is now ready to lead, this is a unique opportunity to help shape the financial foundation of a scaling company. The ideal candidate brings a rare blend of strategic foresight and hands-on execution. You’ve either led or played a key role in building accounting infrastructure from the ground up—standing up close processes, implementing scalable controls, or navigating complex audits. You understand how to balance speed with compliance, thrive in ambiguity, and are ready to design and drive audit-ready financial systems that support both growth and accountability. In this role, you’ll report directly to the CFO, manage a team of Senior and Staff Accountants, and serve as her right hand in scaling a modern finance function. You’ll be the architect of structure and compliance—while ensuring finance remains a strategic enabler, not a bottleneck—striking the balance between GAAP rigor and operational agility in a business that’s growing fast and thinking big.

What You’ll Do

• Own GAAP-compliant financial reporting across the business.
• Lead complex revenue recognition (CPC, CPM, CPA, ASC 606).
• Manage deferred revenue, lease accounting (ASC 842), internal-use software capitalization (ASC 350-40), and equity compensation (ASC 718).
• Guide audit readiness and partner with external auditors (RSM).
• Oversee infrastructure allocations and partner with FP&A for forecasting.
• Implement scalable systems, internal controls, and accounting processes.
• Monitor SaaS/AdTech metrics like ARR, CAC, LTV, and Gross Margin.

Who You Are

• CPA with a strong foundation in technical accounting.
• Experience in AdTech, SaaS, MarTech, or transactional tech platforms.
• Experience leading audits, month-end close, and financial reporting.
• Background in Big 4 or Tier 2 public accounting a plus.
• Strategic thinker with a “roll-up-your-sleeves” approach.
