A fast growth and international business based in New York City, are looking for a Controller to join their operation on a permanent basis. With ambitions to become a market leader in their field, they are looking to bolster their financial operations through the hire of a proven Financial Controller.

The compensation on offer is a salary up to $140,000 per annum plus benefits package which will include healthcare, 401K, generous holiday and other company specific benefits.

The duties of the Controller will include but will not be limited to:

• Oversight of the daily, monthly and quarterly financial operations
• Oversight of a team of 3
• Production, analysis and reporting of the financial statements
• Act as a true business partner to the CEO and the wider leadership providing insights and data to support strategic planning
• Creation of insightful dashboards, metrics and graphics to highlight performance trends and financial information
• Completion of the annual close process alongside CPA firm
• Implementation of robust financial controls and processes
• Ad hoc reporting and presentations when required
• Ad hoc duties when required alongside CEO

The ideal Controller will:

• Be willing to work in a fully onsite position in Midtown, Manhattan.
• Ideally hold CPA licence although this isn't essential
• Have a strong blend of strategic, operational and technical finance experience
• Be ambitious and seeking an opportunity with growth potential
• Have previously been involved in the creation of dashboards and visuals
• Have strong system skills

The Controller position is a newly created opportunity to partner the current CFO with all elements of the finance department. The business is headquartered in Midtown with the position being site based.
