Job summary

Lyra Technology Group seeks a Financial Controller for Integrated Technology Group to lead finance and accounting operations. The role is remote, with responsibility for close processes, reporting, and compliance with U.S. GAAP.

You will collaborate with the U.S.-based accounting team and manage day-to-day activities across GL, AR, AP, payroll, and tax, while supporting ongoing process improvements. Base compensation is $75,000.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting operations, including budget, audit, and month-end close per US GAAP.
• Manage GL, AR, AP, payroll, invoicing, fixed assets, tax, and reconciliations.
• Own internal and external financial reporting across the company.
• Oversee billing, collections, price changes, and related incentives/commissions.
• Liaise with banks, landlords, vendors, and suppliers; manage PEO benefits.

Position Overview

Lyra Technology Group is seeking a Financial Controller to spearhead finance and accounting functions within one of our operating companies, Integrated Technology Group. In addition to managing day‑to‑day accounting operations, this individual will liaise with our U.S.‑based accounting team on reporting and analysis. The role offers exposure to multiple business functions and is a fast track to higher‑level accounting and finance opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage company finance and accounting initiatives, including budget, audit, and month‑end close processes, utilizing U.S. GAAP accounting
• Manage daily accounting functions for General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Invoicing, Fixed Assets, Collections, Monthly Reconciliations, Sales and Use Tax, and participate in these processes as needed
• Lead and manage Accounting Operations including systems and processes, attaining goals, and managing special projects
• Maintain accounting and finance Standard Operating Procedures and develop recommendations for improvement and implementing new processes
• Own financial reporting for internal, corporate, and peer‑group requirements
• Play an integral hands‑on role in customer billing processes, collections, monthly and annual price changes, and billing‑related incentives and commissions
• Liaise for key business relationships such as banking, landlord, vendors, and suppliers
• Oversee relationship with PEO which includes the annual employee benefits renewal and open enrollment process

Qualifications and Experience

We are looking for a self‑motivated, analytical, and detail‑oriented problem solver who is excited about “rolling up their sleeves” in an entrepreneurial and high‑growth environment. The role requires someone who can excel as an individual contributor, project leader, and holding company representative to company employees and leaders. Understanding of U.S. GAAP accounting is necessary, and experience in the MSP space is a plus.

Compensation and Logistics

This role will operate on a remote basis and offers a base compensation of $75,000.
