Collision Suite Connect is seeking a Financial Controller to oversee multi-location financial operations for a growing MSO. You will lead full-cycle accounting, monthly closes, consolidated P&L, and cash management across all collision centers to improve profitability.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive financial management experience, preferably in collision repair or automotive MSOs.
  • Hands-on experience with CCC ONE, Mitchell, and ERP/accounting systems (NetSuite, QuickBooks Enterprise, Sage).
  • In-depth understanding of multi-entity accounting, job costing, and insurance billing practices.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA is a plus).
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Multi-Location Accounting: Manage full-cycle accounting, month-end/year-end closes, and consolidated P&L reporting across all collision locations.
  • Job Costing & WIP Management: Track WIP, labor efficiency, and gross margins across key profit centers.
  • Insurance A/R & Supplement Tracking: Oversee insurance aging accounts, track pending repair supplements, and resolve payouts with carriers/DRPs.
  • Cash Flow & Capital Allocation: Forecast cash flow, manage vendor payments, and optimize capital for new equipment/expansion.
  • KPI & Store Analysis: Partner with Regional Managers to review KPIs, severity metrics, cycle times, and bottlenecks.
  • Compliance & Audit: Manage multi-entity payroll, tax compliance, insurance audits, and regulatory filings.

Job Title: Financial Controller - Collision Repair (MSO)

Job Type: Full-Time

Position Overview

Our client, an expanding multi-shop collision repair operator (MSO), is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to oversee multi-location financial operations. This role leads full-cycle accounting, cash flow management, insurance receivables oversight, and financial reporting across all collision centers to drive store-level profitability and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Multi-Location Accounting: Manage full-cycle accounting, month-end/year-end closes, and consolidated P&L reporting across all collision locations.
  • Job Costing & WIP Management: Track Work-In-Process (WIP), labor efficiency, and gross margins across key profit centers (Body, Refinish, Frame, Sublet, and Parts).
  • Insurance A/R & Supplement Tracking: Oversee insurance aging accounts, track pending repair supplements, and resolve outstanding claims payouts with major carriers/DRPs.
  • Cash Flow & Capital Allocation: Forecast short- and long-term cash flow, manage vendor payments, and optimize capital allocation for new equipment and shop expansions.
  • KPI & Store Analysis: Partner with Regional Managers and Shop Directors to review store-level KPIs, severity metrics, cycle times, and operational bottlenecks.
  • Compliance & Audit: Manage multi-entity payroll, sales/use tax compliance, insurance audits, and regulatory filings.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of progressive financial management experience (prior experience in collision repair, auto dealership, or automotive MSOs strongly preferred).
  • Hands-on experience with collision shop software (CCC ONE, Mitchell) and ERP/accounting systems (NetSuite, QuickBooks Enterprise, Sage).
  • In-depth understanding of multi-entity accounting, job costing, and insurance billing practices.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA is a plus).
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
