Job summary

CiresiMorek is seeking an experienced finance leader to oversee the organization’s accounting activities, ensure accurate financial reporting, and maintain strong internal controls. The role will manage month-end close, general ledger, balance sheet reviews, audits, inventory controls, and comprehensive reporting for executive leadership.

The successful candidate will provide timely financial analysis, partner with cross-functional teams, and uphold robust accounting practices across the company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive Finance and Accounting experience with controllership responsibilities.
• Strong experience with general ledger accounting, reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage month-end close, general ledger activities, account reconciliations, balance sheet reviews, and preparation of accurate and timely financial statements.
• Develop, maintain, and improve accounting procedures and internal controls to ensure reliable, auditable financial reporting.
• Coordinate internal and external audit activities while ensuring compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and reporting requirements.
• Oversee inventory accounting and control processes, including physical inventories, and ensure reporting supports business activity.
• Prepare forecasts, financial analyses, and management reporting while partnering across the business to identify trends and support decision-making.

• Develop, maintain, and continuously improve accounting procedures and internal controls to ensure reliable, accurate, and auditable financial reporting
• Coordinate internal and external audit activities while ensuring compliance with established accounting policies, procedures, and reporting requirements
• Oversee inventory accounting and control processes, including physical inventories, and ensure financial systems and reporting processes accurately support business activity
• Prepare forecasts, financial analyses, and management reporting while partnering across the business to identify trends, improve processes, and support financial and operational decision-making
