Planet Group is seeking a Financial Content Writer & Editor to join our in-house marketing team in New York. You will transform complex wealth management and macroeconomic concepts into engaging content for corporate HR leaders, executives, and employees.

The role requires collaboration with senior leaders, delivering whitepapers, video scripts, digital newsletters, and employee communications. You will translate technical topics into clear takeaways, manage editorial quality and regulatory

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional writing and editing experience in financial services or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of macroeconomics, wealth management, and markets.
• Portfolio showing long-form thought leadership, promotional copy, video scripts.
• Excellent copyediting, proofreading, research, and citation skills.
• Familiarity with compliance-driven environments (FINRA a plus).
• Experience with project management systems (e.g., Monday.com) and basic HTML/WYSIWYG publishing.
• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, Communications, Finance, Economics, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Research, write, and edit multi-channel content including whitepapers, articles, scripts, and promos.
• Translate complex financial topics into clear takeaways for executives and employees.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and brand guidelines across all materials.
• Manage internal communications and digital publishing using HTML templates.
• Coordinate multiple projects and deadlines using Monday.com.
