Principal Financial Group is seeking a Financial Consultant I to deliver expert investment advisory services via our call center, serving a diverse client base including direct-to-consumer prospects and employer-sponsored retirement plans.

You will educate clients on investment and risk-based needs, coordinate with specialized teams, and maintain compliant, accurate records while building lasting relationships in a One Principal culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent plus 2+ years’ experience in financial services.
• SIE and Series 7 licenses required; Series 66 or Series 63/65 alternative.

Responsibilities

• Provide investment advisory services via call center to diverse client base.
• Conduct consultative conversations focused on clients’ goals and risk tolerance to tailor solutions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of customer interactions and ensure compliant handling of data.
