Financial Compliance Expert
Role Purpose

At Lonza AG, we are embarking on an innovative Transformation Project to introduce S/4HANA. This enterprise initiative has paved the way for the creation of a pivotal role: Financial Compliance Expert. This is an outstanding opportunity to work on a high-impact ERP transformation project with exposure to brand new SAP technologies. The role is crucial in ensuring that our organization uses S/4HANA to drive business value and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze process craftsmanship from a financial compliance perspective and leverage S/4HANA functionality to craft efficient controls and mitigate risks.
• Ensure the flawless implementation of existing control strategies into updated processes.
• Implement and coordinate quality assurance processes, including code reviews, testing, and validation.
• Maintain smooth information sharing by regularly communicating project updates, concerns, and potential hazards to collaborating members in Financial Compliance/Corporate Accounting.
• Facilitate communication between collaborators to ensure a shared understanding of functional needs and solutions.
• Assume responsibility for alignment of adaptations/new solutions for controls with the Financial Compliance expert and support decision-making and sign-off.
• Support the integration of controls into the financial compliance GRC solution and in S/4HANA.
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets for financial compliance-related activities within the S/4HANA implementation.
• Coordinate with project managers and other architects to ensure cohesive execution of the overall project strategy.

Key Requirements

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Good understanding of financial processes, financial risk, and controls.
• Proficiency in SAP ECC and related SAP modules.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with data visualization tools and techniques is an advantage.
