Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) is responsible for developing AARP's annual budget, three periodic financial forecasts, and multi-year financial plan. The team partners closely with the Enterprise Strategy Group to ensure financial resources are available and aligned with the strategic priorities as approved by AARP leadership and the Board. FP&A also provides an array of financial analytical services to AARP business groups, leadership and the Board.
The Financial Communications Director is responsible for creating informed and engaging communications for the Board of Directors, committee and management meetings, and staff briefings. These communications are aimed at enhancing financial transparency and supporting strong governance practices. The Director will translate complex financial and governance-related information into clear, concise, and compelling narratives that are easily understood by diverse audiences. This role plays a critical part in supporting the Board of Directors and its Committees by producing high-quality materials that effectively communicate the enterprise’s financial standing.
