GENERAL FUNCTION:

The Financial Center Manager (FCM) will participate in a comprehensive, customized onboarding and education program. This includes rotations in Operations, Sales & Service, Lending, Small Business, Preferred Banking, and Sales & Operations Management. The program aims to prepare successful candidates for a Financial Center Manager role. Upon successful completion, the FCM will be placed in a Financial Center.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Complete the FCMA roadmap and all onboarding activities, including a Consultative Selling Skills Certification.
• Deepen Consumer and Small Business customer relationships by providing excellent customer experiences.
• Gain and maintain knowledge of Fifth Third's products, services, processes, and resources to effectively guide and lead the team.
• Develop skills in the consultative sales process to identify customer needs and recommend suitable solutions.
• Create an integrated book of business strategy ensuring all customers receive a Financial Needs Assessment and are assigned to the appropriate banker.
• Learn to source, develop, coach, and lead a team aligned with our Core Values and business strategies.
• Cultivate a One Bank culture through proactive collaboration with business partners.
• Participate in community benefit activities.
• Adhere to the Bancorp Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, modeling expected ethical behavior.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist in providing timely, candid, and constructive feedback to employees, support their development, recognize achievements, and foster career growth opportunities.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

• College degree or two or more years of leadership experience in a sales environment.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to analyze credit and financial information.
• Proven success in executing and coaching sales activities.
• Strong business acumen.
• Sound decision-making abilities.
• Must be registered with the S.A.F.E. Act through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) at employment start.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Normal office environment.
• Extended viewing of computer screens.
• Periodic travel within the Bancorp footprint for meetings and training.
