GENERAL FUNCTION:

The Financial Center Manager will participate in a comprehensive, customized onboarding and education program. This includes rotations in Operations, Sales & Service, Lending, Small Business, Preferred, and Sales & Operations Management. The role provides a robust learning approach to prepare successful candidates for a Financial Center Manager role. After completing the training, the FCMA will be placed in a Financial Center.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Complete the FCMA roadmap and all onboarding activities from day one to program completion, including the Consultative Selling Skills Certification.
  • Deepen Consumer and Small Business customer relationships by providing a memorable customer experience.
  • Gain and maintain knowledge of Fifth Third's products, services, processes, and resources to guide and lead the team effectively.
  • Develop consultative sales skills to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Implement an integrated book of business strategy, ensuring all customers receive a Financial Needs Assessment (FNA) and are assigned to the appropriate banker.
  • Source, develop, coach, and lead a team that embodies our Core Values and business strategies.
  • Cultivate a One Bank culture through proactive collaboration with business partners.
  • Participate in community-beneficial activities.
  • Follow the Bancorp Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, modeling ethical behavior.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist in providing timely, candid, and constructive feedback to employees, support their development, recognize achievements, and provide challenging growth opportunities.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
  • College degree or two or more years of leadership experience in a sales environment.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills to represent Fifth Third Bank.
  • Ability to analyze credit and financial information.
  • Proven success in executing and coaching sales activities.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Sound decision-making skills.
  • Must be registered with S.A.F.E. Act through NMLS at employment.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
  • Standard office environment.
  • Extended periods of computer use.
  • Periodic travel within the Bancorp footprint for meetings and training.
