As a Financial Center Manager, You Will

• Lead and coach a team that drives consistent operating rhythms and ongoing relationship management while providing a memorable customer experience.
• Deliver an integrated book of business strategy in which all customers, through all channels, have a Financial Needs Assessment and are assigned to the best banker for proactive, ongoing support.
• Use a consultative sales process to proactively identify the financial needs of current and prospective customers, and recommend the appropriate solutions to meet those needs.

General Function

The Financial Center Manager (FCM) leads and coaches a team that drives consistent operating rhythms and execution of customer onboarding and ongoing relationship management. The FCM strengthens the financial center’s book of business while providing an exceptional customer experience, overseeing sales and service support, daily operations, and staffing to ensure high quality. Each financial center is tiered based on households, revenue and opportunity. The FCM is accountable for sustaining and growing the business, promoting growth through deposits, assets, fee‑based services, and retention of new and existing consumers and businesses. The FCM manages risk by following policies and procedures, ensuring actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience.

Supervisory Responsibilities

The FCM provides employees timely, candid, and constructive feedback, assists in their development, recognizes achievements, and supports succession planning to ensure adequate bench strength.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required

• College degree or two or more years of sales experience.
• Previous management experience preferred.
• Experience in the financial industry and managing a P&L is a plus.
• Ability to professionally represent Fifth Third Bank in verbal and written communication.
• Capability to analyze credit and financial information.
• Ability to successfully execute and coach sales activities.
• Business acumen and sound decision‑making.
• Requires registration under the S.A.F.E. Act through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) at the time of employment.

Working Conditions

• Normal office environment.
• Extended computer screen viewing.
• Periodic travel within the Bancorp footprint for meetings and/or training.
