Qualifications

  • Minimum two years' banking experience or experience in comparable field.
  • Two years' supervisory experience.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; comparable combination of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow the Business Banking portfolio under 3MM in sales revenue.
  • Oversee a tier 2/3 branch with growth opportunities and complex transactions.
  • Lead branch performance through planning and execution for outside business development.
  • Identify, develop and implement effective sales strategies to acquire new business opportunities and nurture relationships.
  • Develop knowledge of Penn Community Bank's retail and commercial products and services.
  • Coach team to engage customers in technology-enabled interactions and provide solution-oriented consultation.
  • Acquire and retain talent through onboarding and development.
  • Manage branch operations, staffing, audits, compliance and security.
  • Participate in branch sales and service campaigns.

  • Responsible for managing and growing the Business Banking portfolio under 3MM in sales revenue
  • Management of a tier 2/3 branch, overseeing an office with high levels of market growth opportunities, complex transactions and/or in a de novo market
  • Business Acumen - Knowledge, insight, and understanding of business concepts, tools, and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company's business; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations
  • Prospecting. - Knowledge of prospecting principles, processes and skills; ability to identify and engage potential customers in the market
  • Manages and leads priorities through planning and execution to drive all aspects of branch performance including growth activities for outside business development
  • Identify, develop and implement effective sales strategies to acquire new business opportunities. Cultivate and nurture existing customer relationships
  • Develop a strong knowledge of Penn Community Bank's retail and commercial products and services
  • Coaches team to confidently engage which customers in technology enabled interactions, providing solutions and advice-oriented consultation that improves the client's financial well-being
  • Responsible for acquiring and retaining talent through effective onboarding coaching and development.
  • Leads and coaches a high performing team that drives acquisition growth, mitigates risk, develops and maintains collaborative partnerships and promotes employee engagement and positive consumer/business experiences
  • Manage assigned branch, including but not limited to; operations, administration, staffing, audits, compliance and security
  • Manage team participation in assigned branch sales and service campaigns
  • Perform additional duties as required
Compliance
  • Comply with all applicable regulations and Bank policies regarding employment and employment law.
  • Participate in annual compliance and other job-related training.
  • Comply with applicable bank regulations, Bank policies and procedures.
  • Comply with Bank's internal privacy and ethics standards.
Relationships and Contacts

Internal: Reports to Regional Retail Manager; Frequent contact with Team members at various levels through the Bank to discuss products, services, policies, procedures and changes

External: Frequent contact with current and potential customers regarding products and services; Representation of the Bank through community involvement and volunteerism

Education and Experience
  • Minimum two (2) years' banking experience or experience in comparable field
  • Two (2) years' supervisory experience
  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university preferred, a comparable combination of educations and experience may be considered.

Working Conditions

Traditional office environment with no unusual work conditions; the office maintains six day a week operation (Monday - Saturday) with operational hours of varying based on branch location. Branch Team Members are required to work a minimum of two (2) Saturdays per month.
