The Financial Center Consultant I will support our members through teller transactions and guidance on our products and services. We seek someone who takes pride in representing EECU and creating lifelong members through sincere relationships.

Key qualifications for the Financial Center Consultant I:

  • Ability to deliver excellent member experiences through constant personal interaction.
  • Providing complete service and sales experiences, exceeding monthly sales goals.
  • Performing a variety of member service functions such as deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, etc., with operational issue resolution skills.
  • Supporting marketing initiatives within the branch.
  • Building exceptional rapport with members by providing excellent service.
  • Lobby coverage responsibilities including greeting members, answering calls, and directing members appropriately.
  • In compliance with applicable law, evaluating an applicant's credit history; only those with good credit history will be considered. Successful candidates will need to clear background checks including employment, criminal, and drug screening.

Requirements:

  • One to two years of experience in retail or financial services, emphasizing excellent service and rapport building.
  • Cash handling experience with the ability to balance without overages or shortages.
  • Strong communication skills for effective interactions.
  • Enthusiasm, professionalism, ownership, and accountability.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
  • Approachability, problem-solving, and empathy skills.
  • Relevant computer skills, solid math, and written communication skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
  • Availability during hours of 7:30 am - 6:15 pm Monday - Friday, and 8:45 am - 1:15 pm Saturdays.

Compliance with all Federal and State rules and regulations is required, including ongoing Bank Secrecy Act training.
