EECU is seeking a Part-time Financial Center Consultant I (Teller) for our Burleson location. This role involves creating energy and excitement around EECU products and services, providing the right solutions and products for our members.

EECU is dedicated to delivering excellence in service, starting with understanding our members' needs. The Financial Center Consultant I will support members through teller transactions and guidance on our products and services. We are looking for someone who takes pride in representing EECU and finds satisfaction in building lifelong relationships with members.

Key qualifications for the Financial Center Consultant I:

  • Ability to deliver excellent member experiences through constant personal interaction.
  • Provide comprehensive service and sales experiences, aiming to exceed monthly sales goals.
  • Perform a variety of member service functions, including teller transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing, with the ability to resolve operational issues.
  • Support and initiate marketing activities within the branch.
  • Build exceptional rapport with members by providing excellent service.
  • Manage lobby coverage, greeting members, answering calls, and directing members to appropriate staff.
  • In compliance with applicable law, EECU will evaluate an applicant's credit history. Only applicants with good credit history will be considered. Successful candidates will need to clear background checks, including employment, criminal, and drug screening.

Knowledge and experience required:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years experience in retail or financial services, focusing on excellent service and rapport building.
  • Cash handling experience with the ability to balance without overages or shortages.
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with members.
  • Enthusiasm, professionalism, ownership, and accountability.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
  • Approachable, empathetic listener with problem-solving skills.
  • Relevant computer skills, solid math, and written communication skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
  • Part-time position (~28 hours/week), availability during 7:30 am - 6:15 pm Monday-Friday and 8:30 am - 1:30 pm Saturdays required.
  • Opportunity to earn monthly incentives.
