Concern Housing is seeking a Financial Case Manager to provide financial management services to tenants/ residents residing in Concern’s NYC housing programs. The role is multi-focused and includes assistance with rent collection and monitoring, establishing and maintaining eligibility for benefits, and providing budgeting education and support to tenants to help improve their financial literacy skills. The position also serves as Concern’s NYC representative payee liaison with the Social Security Administration (SSA) and agency contact with the Human Resources Administration (HRA).
Days/Hours: Monday - Friday; 8am - 4pm
Bachelors Degree in Psychology, Rehabilitation, Social Work or other related mental health discipline, plus 2 years experience working in a similar setting and/or working with people with mental illnesses. Demonstrated knowledge of community resources, including Social Security, Public Assistance, and Medicaid insurance systems. NYS motor vehicle license required.
Salary- $55,000/yr
