Kforce Inc. seeks a Financial Business Intelligence Developer in Lakeland, FL. The role blends in-office collaboration and remote work, focused on delivering robust reporting, ETL processes, and BI dashboards for finance and operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Finance, or related field.
• 4-6 years of experience in BI, reporting, data analytics, or related technical discipline.
• Strong SQL development experience including T-SQL, stored procedures, views, functions, and performance tuning.
• Experience with SSIS ETL/ELT processes and SSRS reports.
• Experience with data warehouses and enterprise reporting environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and database objects.
• Create and maintain SSRS reports and support Power BI visualization initiatives.
• Develop and support ETL/ELT processes using SSIS and other data integration tools.

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client in Lakeland, FL that is seeking a Financial Business Intelligence Developer to join their growing team. This role is hybrid with 3 days in office and 2 days remote at the Tampa, FL location. Summary: This role is ideal for a data-focused professional who enjoys transforming complex financial and operational data into actionable business insights. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and supporting reporting solutions, data integrations, ETL processes, dashboards, and business intelligence applications that drive informed decision-making across the organization. This position will work closely with business stakeholders, finance teams, and technology partners to design scalable reporting solutions, improve data quality, and support enterprise reporting initiatives. Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and database objects to support reporting and analytics initiatives
• Create and maintain SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) reports and support future reporting initiatives utilizing Power BI or similar visualization tools
• Develop and support ETL/ELT processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and other data integration technologies
• Integrate data from multiple sources including databases, flat files, ERP platforms, and third-party applications
• Design and develop dashboards and visualizations that provide meaningful business and financial insights
• Support data warehouse initiatives, reporting environments, and enterprise analytics projects
• Analyze data quality issues, identify trends and anomalies, and recommend improvements
• Promote data governance standards, data integrity, consistency, and documentation best practices
• Participate in application lifecycle management, source control, and deployment activities utilizing Azure DevOps or similar tools

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Finance, or a related field
• 4-6 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Reporting, Data Analytics, Database Development, Financial Systems, or a related technical discipline
• Advanced SQL Server development experience including: T-SQL; Stored Procedures; Views and Functions; Query Optimization and Performance Tuning; Database Troubleshooting
• Experience developing and maintaining SSIS packages and ETL/ELT processes
• Experience creating and supporting SSRS reports
• Experience working with data warehouses and enterprise reporting environments
• Strong understanding of relational database design and data modeling concepts
• Knowledge of financial systems and processes including: General Ledger (GL); Accounts Payable (AP); Accounts Receivable (AR); Budgeting; Financial Reporting
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other modern data visualization platforms
• Experience with Azure DevOps, source control, release management, and deployment processes
• Knowledge of data governance, data stewardship, and data quality frameworks
• Experience integrating data across multiple enterprise platforms and applications
• Experience automating business processes and reporting workflows
• Exposure to legal industry financial systems, particularly Aderant Expert Sierra, is highly preferred

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
