Job summary

Anglicotech, LLC seeks a Financial Audit & Valuation Analyst to support valuation and audit responses at Naval Air Station Patuxent River, MD. Hybrid on-site role with 2-3 days at the client site and travel as needed.

You will align with SFFAS 3/48, manage DD Form 250 vs. OIS vs. Navy ERP data, and assist in formal auditor inquiries. A Secret clearance is required or attainable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business Management or related field.
• 3-6 years of progressive experience in audit response, remediation, internal controls, and GAAP/SFFAS/OMB policies.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US Secret security clearance.
• Strong communication and coordination with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide Ordnance Valuation Support per SFFAS 3 and 48 in line with Navy guidance.
• Track assets accepted by Government not yet recorded in OIS.
• Validate data alignment between DD Form 250, OIS, and Navy ERP (N-ERP).
• Research and validate data using WAWF, N-ERP, and contractor docs.
• Assist NAVAIR/PAE Munitions in formal tasker responses and audit readiness.
• Support IPA PBC requests using ARC to track audit responses.

We are seeking a Financial Audit & Valuation Analyst with immediate availability that will thrive in a challenging and rewarding process-oriented environment.

Location

• Hybrid
• This position is located at Naval Air Station Patuxent River, Maryland.
• On-site 2-3 times per week at client site at Naval Air Station Patuxent River in Maryland supporting Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) and Portfolio Acquisition Execution (PAE) Munitions

Travel

• May require up to 25-30% travel to support site visits as needed
• Level II: $85,000 - $95,000
• Level III: $112,500 - $122,500
• Actual compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, education, certifications, technical qualifications, security clearance, and internal equity. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Provide Ordnance Valuation Support aligned with the Ordnance enterprise’s Statement of Federal Financial Accounting Standards (SFFAS) 3 (Accounting for Inventory and Related Property) and SFFAS 48 (Opening Balances for Inventory, Operating Materials and Supplies, Stockpile Materials) responsibilities, in accordance with the Navy’s go-forward implementation guidance
• Track assets accepted by the Government (e.g., DD Form 250) but not yet recorded in Ordnance Information System (OIS)
• Validate and ensuring complete data alignment between government acceptance documentation (e.g., DD Form 250), the OIS, and Navy ERP (N-ERP)
• Perform independent research and data validation by reviewing Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) acceptance records, Navy ERP (N-ERP) procurement entries, contractor documentation, and OIS transaction logs
• Assist NAVAIR and PAE Munitions in responding to formal tasker package, tracking responses, and ensuring reconciliation exceptions are resolved promptly
• Support NAVAIR and PAE in responding to IPA PBC requests, utilizing the Audit Response Center (ARC) tool to facilitate and track all audit responses
• Assist in preparing formal responses to auditor inquiries and support remediation of real-time issues
• Support the audit response for the IPA’s E&C roll-forward and valuation testing by reviewing audit responses and assisting in the compilation of audit-ready documentation packages utilizing

Required Certifications

• One of the following professional certifications: CPA, CISA, CIA, CGFM or CDFM.

Security Clearance

• Ability to obtain and maintain a US Security clearance at the minimum level of Secret

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business Management related field
• 3-6 years of progressive, relevant experience supporting audit response, audit remediation, internal controls, financial processes, and/or accounting with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), SFFAS, and/or relevant OMB policies for State or Federal Government agencies or large, complex companies (greater than 1,000 employees)
• Strong communication skills and experience coordinating with multiple stake holders to submit data calls, review responses, and perform follow-up as necessary
• Experience performing complex reconciliation and performing data analysis
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work on-site in a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) (as needed)

Preferred Additional Skills

• Experience with federal accounting standards specifically SFFAS 3 and SFFAS 48
• Experience with Operation Materials and Supplies (OM&S)
• Experience with Federal Government Contracting process
