Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Active Series 7 and 66 licenses preferred.
  • Life & Health Insurance licenses preferred.
  • Experience servicing high net worth clients.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail, critical thinker and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support for the Wealth Management team, including preparing documents, reports, and drafting correspondence.
  • Serve as a primary client service contact, responding promptly to inquiries and resolving issues to maintain satisfaction.
  • Manage client communications, scheduling, and review meeting coordination.
  • Process account maintenance requests and track documentation through completion.
  • Maintain client records and CRM data; support onboarding and meeting follow-up.
  • Coordinate with custodians, insurers, and home office personnel as needed.
  • Support client events, marketing initiatives, and office operations.
  • Represent the department in cross-departmental and community activities.

Position Summary

The Financial Assistant plays a critical role in supporting the Financial Advisor of the WBT Wealth Management team by managing account maintenance activities and fostering ongoing relationships with clients through consistent daily interactions. This position acts as a trusted point of contact for existing clients, delivering timely, professional, and personalized service while helping deliver an exceptional client experience. The Financial Assistant reports to the WBT Wealth Management Manager and provides excellent service and support to team members and customers while demonstrating the Company’s values and supporting the mission.

Position Duties & Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support for the WBT Wealth Management team to include preparing documents, compiling reports, and drafting correspondence
  • Serve as a primary contact for client service inquiries, responding with timely and professional communication to address and resolve issues to maintain high satisfaction levels
  • Manage client communications, scheduling, and review meeting coordination
  • Process account maintenance requests and track documentation through completion
  • Maintain client records, referral tracking, and CRM systems
  • Assist with client onboarding, review meeting preparation, and follow-up
  • Coordinate with custodians, insurance companies, and home office personnel as needed
  • Support client events, marketing initiatives, and office operations
  • Represent the department with cross-departmental and community initiatives
  • Embrace a team approach, as well as communicate and collaborate with other advisors and staff
  • Work closely with senior financial advisors and operations team members to deliver consistent client experiences and identify opportunities for enhanced service
  • Responsible for meeting or exceeding service-level and production-based goals related to client retention, acquisition, satisfaction, and account management
  • Adhere to all company and industry supervisory guidelines and policies
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, complying with continuing education requirements, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks and participating in professional associations
  • Attend training as requested
  • Adhere to compliance with all FINRA/SEC and federal bank regulations and laws, including those for consumer protection and the Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering Program
  • Participate in outside community activities as required
  • Perform other duties as assigned
