Job summary

Wilson Bank & Trust seeks a Financial Advisor to deliver comprehensive financial planning services to its client base, leveraging Raymond James resources. You serve as the primary contact for existing clients and grow relationships by partnering with Retail and Lending teams to identify needs and referrals for investment solutions.

Qualifications

  • 5 years of financial planning and/or investment advisory experience.
  • Active Series 7 and 66 licenses.
  • Current Life & Health Insurance Licenses.
  • Clean U-4 and U-5 history.
  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and/or Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF) preferred.
  • Retention of current book goal: 60%+ with ability to transition existing book to Raymond James Financial Services.
  • Experience with servicing high net worth clients.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with strong organization and follow-through.
  • Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willing to grow, be challenged, and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver financial planning services to client base utilizing resources provided by Raymond James Financial Services.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for existing client accounts with timely, professional communication.
  • Provide proactive support to address inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain high satisfaction.
  • Proactively seek new client relationships for wealth enhancement and financial planning services.
  • Utilize network and referrals to identify prospective clients and facilitate outreach.
  • Promote investment models and strategies suitable for targeted clients.
  • Collaborate with advisors and staff to deliver consistent client experiences.
  • Meet or exceed service-level and production-based goals related to retention, acquisition, satisfaction, and account management.
  • Adhere to FINRA/SEC and federal bank regulations and laws, including Bank Secrecy Act/AML.
  • Attend training and participate in outside community activities as required.

Job Summary

The Financial Advisor delivers financial planning services to client base utilizing resources provided by Raymond James Financial Services. This position serves as a point of contact for existing clients and proactively seeks new client relationships. The Financial Advisor reports to the WBT Wealth Management Manager and provides excellent service and support to team members and customers while demonstrating the Company\'s values and supporting the mission.

Job Duties And Responsibilities
  • Deliver financial planning services to client base utilizing resources provided by Raymond James Financial Services
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for existing segmented client accounts, ensuring timely and professional communication
  • Provide proactive support to address client inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain high satisfaction levels
  • Proactively seek new client relationships for wealth enhancement and financial planning services
  • Utilize network and referrals to identify prospective clients and facilitate outreach
  • Promote established investment models and strategies that are suitable for targeted clients
  • Embrace a team approach, as well as communicate and collaborate with other advisors and staff
  • Work closely with senior advisors and operations team members to deliver consistent client experiences and identify opportunities for enhanced service
  • Responsible for meeting or exceeding service-level and production-based goals related to client retention, acquisition, satisfaction, and account management
  • Adhere to all company and industry supervisory guidelines and policies
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, complying with continuing education requirements, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks and participating in professional associations
  • Adhere to compliance with all FINRA/SEC and federal bank regulations and laws, including those for consumer protection and the Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering Program
  • Attend training as requested
  • Participate in outside community activities as required
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s degree
