  • Monitor changes in participant circumstances and update eligibility status accordingly.
  • Collaborate with case managers and program staff to ensure coordinated service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations governing W‑2 and JAL eligibility.
  • Respond to inquiries from participants regarding eligibility requirements and documentation.
  • Participate in audits and quality assurance reviews to ensure program integrity.
  • Uphold confidentiality and adhere to all applicable employment laws and program policies.

Job Description

The Financial and Employment Planner – Eligibility is responsible for determining initial and ongoing eligibility for W-2 services and Job Access Loans (JALs). This role ensures timely access to benefits by verifying documentation, maintaining accurate case records, and conducting thorough eligibility reviews in accordance with program guidelines.

  • Familiarity with Wisconsin Works (W‑2) eligibility guidelines.
  • Bilingual (Spanish or Hmong) a plus.
