General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to drive budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for key government missions. You will partner with the Sector Finance Director and FP&A teams to deliver accurate analysis and actionable insights.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of finance experience, strong modeling skills, and proficiency with Excel, Oracle Financials, Oracle Analytics, and Hyperion Planning. This role is hybrid and based in Falls Church, VA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Arts/Science required.
• 5+ years of related experience.
• Strong modeling, BI reporting and data analysis skills.
• Hyperion experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead/Manage/Support annual budgeting, forecasts, reporting, and month-end close.
• Collaborate with Finance Directors and FP&A teams across the organization.
• Improve budgeting/reporting speed and accuracy with analytics tools.
• Develop financial models and perform ad hoc analyses.

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT

• Lead/Manage/Support annual budgeting process, quarterly forecasts, quarterly reporting deliverables, month-end close process, and myriad ad hoc analyses/special projects.
• Collaborate with Sector Finance Director, team of Business Area Finance Managers, Finance Analysts, division FP&A team, and business area operation leads.
• Drive innovation, speed, accuracy, and usefulness of budgeting and reporting processes/reports.
• Utilize Excel, Oracle Financials, Oracle Analytics, Hyperion Planning, and developing AI tools.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

• Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science
• Experience: 5+ years of related experience
• Technical skills: Financial modeling/planning, business intelligence & reporting, data management/analysis, presentation & storytelling/communication of data/financials
• Hyperion is strongly preferred
• FP&A background preferred
• US Person
• Location: Hybrid--must be able to go into the Falls Church, VA office 3+ days a week

The likely salary range for this position is $85,000 - $115,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
