Job summary

Lynch Consultants, LLC in the National Capital Region is seeking a proactive Financial Analyst with experience in audit remediation and PP&E. The role involves evaluating and redesigning PP&E related processes and controls to strengthen accounting practices and support mission-critical initiatives.

The successful candidate will be a US citizen located in the National Capital Region (DC/VA/MD) with 4 years of accounting experience and an active or eligible TS/TS-SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• 4 years of accounting or financial management experience.
• At least 2 years in roles such as accountant, financial auditor, financial analyst, or financial system analyst.
• Active TS, TS-SCI clearance or eligible for TS-SCI clearance.
• US citizen.

Responsibilities

• Assist in evaluating and redesigning PP&E-related business processes and controls.
• Evaluate accounting principles applied to recording PP&E assets.
• Support audit remediation activities and compliance efforts.
• Provide analysis and reporting to support mission-critical initiatives.

Skills

Join our team supporting an Intelligence Agency client in the National Capital Region and help drive meaningful results on mission-critical initiatives.

We’re looking for a proactive, solutions-focused Financial Analyst with experience in audit remediation and the property lifecycle who’s ready to tackle complex challenges and make a measurable impact.This role involves providing support to evaluate and redesign current business processes and controls related to property, plant, and equipment (PP&E) and to evaluate accounting principles applied to recording of PP&E assets.

Salary:

Up to $120,000/yr, commensurate with experience.

Work Location and Schedule:

• This work will be performed at the client site 5-days/week in Springfield, VA.

Required Qualifications – Must Have:

• MUST have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Business Management related field.

• MUST have 4 years of accounting or financial management experience, which includes a minimum of 2 years of experience in roles such as an accountant, financial auditor, financial analyst, or financial system analyst.

• MUST have an active TS,TS-SCI clearance or eligible for a TS-SCI clearance.

• MUST be a US citizen.

• MUST be located in the National Capital Region (DC, Virginia, Maryland). Relocation bonus will be offered.

PreferredQualifications:

• DoD / Intelligence communityfinancial managementexperience.

• Oneof the following certifications is highly desired:CPA, CIA, CFE, CGFM, and/or CDFM.

Skills & Duties:

• FamiliaritywithOMB Circular A-123.

• Knowledge ofFASAB Accounting Standards related to Property, Plant, and Equipment(PP&E).
