Job summary

Centene Corporation is seeking a Finance Analyst II for Carolina Complete Health. The role is remote with preference for NC residents and requires 2+ years of financial or data analysis experience and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

The candidate will develop revenue/expense analyses and perform forecasting to support senior management. Advanced Excel skills (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP/HLOOKUP, Power BI) and experience in healthcare cost trends are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of financial or data analysis experience.
• Preferred: inpatient admission pricing, estimation experience; experience in Healthcare, MA, and/or studying cost trends.
• Advanced Excel skills: Pivot tables, Power BI, VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, and Excel queries.

Responsibilities

• Develop integrated revenue/expense analyses, projections, reports, and presentations.
• Create and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual reports; ensure financial information is recorded accurately.
• Identify trends and developments in competitive environments and present findings to senior management.
• Perform financial forecasting and reconciliation of internal accounts.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Complies with all policies and standards.

As part of Carolina Complete Health, the Finance Analyst II will compile and analyze financial information for the company, health plan.

For this role, while it is remote, we are considering qualified applicants living in the state of North Carolina.
