Job summary

A mission-driven consultancy is seeking a Financial Analyst to manage project financial operations, blending project-level financial control with client billing. The successful candidate will have deep expertise in finance and project accounting, ensuring financial accuracy while supporting a collaborative work environment. This remote-first position offers the chance to work closely with various teams, providing insights that leverage strong analytical skills. The salary range is $100,000 to $110,000 annually.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in finance or project financial operations.
• Experience in preparing invoices and reconciling unbilled balances.
• Ability to translate financial performance into accurate billing.

Responsibilities

• Provide project control support for monthly close activities.
• Own project-level billing and invoicing.
• Prepare and maintain Estimates-at-Completion (EACs).
• Conduct contract and subcontract administration.
• Reconcile unbilled balances and support timesheet reviews.
• Develop and deliver monthly financial reports to leadership.
