Job summary

Wawona Frozen Foods is seeking a Financial Analyst to support the CFO and cross-functional leaders by delivering timely, accurate financial insights. The role focuses on monitoring production performance, analyzing costs and variances, and developing standard labor and cost models across the plant.

The Analyst will partner with manufacturing, operations, and corporate finance to drive performance, ensure financial accuracy, and contribute to pricing strategies and monthly close activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of financial analysis experience, preferably in the food industry, with ERP experience (MS Dynamics/Business Central).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; strong ERP/supply chain knowledge.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and communicate with senior management.

Responsibilities

• Monitor production performance, analyze costs and variances, and develop standard labor/cost models.
• Support pricing strategies and profitability analysis at product/customer level.
• Participate in monthly close, cost center reviews, and forecasting processes.
• Prepare and present financial reporting and KPI analyses to plant leadership.
