**Job Description:**

This position involves budgeting, strategic planning, variance analysis, patient accounts, and operational data analysis to ensure sound financial operations. It provides financial planning and analytical solutions such as forecasts, reports, dashboards, and tools for leadership and stakeholders across the organization, supporting both business and clinical initiatives. The role supports the development, analysis, and interpretation of routine to minimally complex data sources to aid in process improvement, operations, strategy, and cost reduction. Duties are performed under initial supervision, progressing to routine tasks with general review after training.

**This is a 100% remote position**; however, candidates from the following states cannot be considered: California, Hawaii, Illinois, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont, Connecticut, and Washington.

Responsibilities include:

1. Providing support and analysis for budgeting, strategic planning, variance reporting, and ad-hoc analysis for a facility, region, division, or system-wide team.
2. Completing defined tasks related to operational and capital budgets, strategic planning, patient accounts, and operations, with close supervision for non-routine tasks. Ensuring timely and accurate completion of assigned tasks.
3. Preparing routine to minimally complex financial analyses, variance reports, and ad-hoc reports, collaborating with internal customers to develop and analyze data for clinical and operational issues.
4. Participating in system-wide processes or improvement projects under supervision.

**Financial Analyst I Pay Range:** $29.66 - $46.72

**Qualifications:**

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field from an accredited institution (education verified).
• Entry-level role; no professional experience required.
• Preferred: One year of experience in finance, accounting, or analytics conducting routine financial analysis.
• Experience with word processing, spreadsheets, databases, internet, email, and scheduling applications preferred.
• Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills preferred.

**Financial Analyst II Pay Range:** $32.77 - $51.61

**Qualifications:**

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field from an accredited institution (education verified).
• Demonstrated communication skills.
• Experience with productivity applications.
• Two years of professional experience in financial analysis preferred.
• Master’s degree with less than two years of relevant experience preferred.
• Project management skills, high accuracy, and sound decision-making with limited supervision preferred.
• Knowledge of Intermountain Healthcare finances and processes preferred.
• Experience with budgeting and finance tracking preferred.

**Physical Requirements:**

• Ability to see, read, and assess information, documents, and equipment.
• Effective verbal communication with providers, colleagues, and patients.
• Manual dexterity for computer use and equipment manipulation.
• Driving responsibilities include sitting, seeing, and reading traffic signs and signals.

**Location:** Key Bank Tower, Salt Lake City, Utah

**Scheduled Hours:** 40 per week

The hourly range is $32.77 - $51.61, dependent on experience.
