Unum in Chattanooga, TN, is seeking a Financial Analyst to support Net Investment Income. This role performs intermediate-level financial analysis and accounting, partnering with business areas to provide analysis and data to inform decisions.

You will participate in monthly/quarterly financial cycles, prepare and balance accounts, and contribute to process improvements within finance. A Bachelor's degree and 0-3 years' experience are expected, with strong Excel and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or comparable work experience.
• Zero to three years of comparable experience.
• Basic understanding of financial statements and how they interact.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to change.
• Excel skills (basic to intermediate) and proficiency with Word/PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Support Net Investment Income with intermediate financial analyses.
