Job summary

Arthrex, a global medical device company, seeks a Financial Analyst III - International to join our team in Naples, FL. You will partner with International Finance and Sales teams to deliver reporting and analysis, support budgets, and drive performance improvements across global operations.

Responsibilities include ad-hoc analysis, KPI monitoring, and cross-functional collaboration with Global Finance, Supply Chain, and IT to streamline reporting and processes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related Business/Economics required.
  • 3 years of relevant work experience required.
  • Advanced Excel and proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Provide routine and ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting.
  • Analyze financial results for accuracy, determining variance drivers and documenting performance commentary.
  • Maintain cross-functional relationships with applicable business units and participate in cross-functional meetings to understand the status of identified initiatives.
  • Gather, organize, and present financial data for the applicable area for management reporting.
  • Prepare and summarize plan vs. actual reports and variance explanations for applicable areas.
  • Understand and monitor relevant KPIs/trends/events impacting the business and incorporate this information into forecasts and analyses.
  • Research and resolve inquiries for assigned functional areas.
  • Implement and support continuous improvement in data analytics, BI and reporting.
  • Exercise flexibility in working time to meet deadlines.

The Financial Analyst III – International will li raise with Arthrex Business Units to deliver reporting and analysis, as well as provide financial, market, and best practice insight and guidance in support of sales performance and business optimization.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
  • Provide routine and ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting
  • Analyze financial results for accuracy, determining variance drivers and documenting performance commentary. Perform trend and sensitivity analyses to determine potential impacts on business results
  • Maintain cross-functional relationships with applicable business units and participate in cross-functional meetings to understand the status of identified initiatives
  • Gather, organize, and present financial data for the applicable area for management reporting and in preparation for regular leadership reviews
  • Prepare and summarize plan vs. actual reports and variance explanations for applicable areas
  • Understand and monitor relevant KPIs/trends/events impacting the business and incorporate this information into forecasts and analyses
  • Research and resolve inquiries for assigned functional areas
  • Implement and support continuous improvement in data analytics, business intelligence, and reporting efficiency and effectiveness
  • Exercise flexibility in working time or hours when needed to meet project deadlines and quality expectations
Additional Duties And Responsibilities
International Reporting
  • Partner with Global Finance Teams to align on reporting systems, developments, and improvements in company-wide reporting
  • Liaise with Global Finance Team to develop and report consistent financial KPIs
  • Perform regular and ad hoc reporting, planning, and analysis activities in support of International Finance and Sales Teams in support of regional and global objectives
  • Assist in administration, preparation, and completion of sales and operational expense budgets and collaborate with International Finance and Sales partners to ensure all budget holders have sufficient working knowledge of their budgets
  • Analyze market data in support of existing product lines, new business opportunities, and new product launches
  • Maintain cross-functional relationships with International Supply Chain, Operations, Transfer Pricing, and Global Finance and Accounting Teams
  • Identify, research, and report on variances or unexpected activity within financial results, including review of actual vs. plan and year over year comparisons
  • Partner with International Finance Teams and IT Center of Excellence to understand and streamline best-practice processes and reporting
Education / Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related Business/ Economics required
  • 3 years of relevant work experience required
Specialized Skills
  • Advanced Excel and proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills with high attention to detail
  • Basic knowledge of SAP/ERP system or equivalent
  • Strong collaboration & negotiation skills
