Job summary

Yamaha Motor Corporation, U.S.A. is seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst III to support budgeting, financial reporting, forecasting, and business analysis in the Demand Chain unit.

You will analyze financial performance, identify trends and variances, and provide actionable insights to support informed business decisions. This role covers monthly reporting, annual budgeting, and cross-functional collaboration with units across Yamaha.

Qualifications

• BS in Accounting or Finance, plus at least three years of Financial Analyst experience.
• MBA preferred.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, accruals, and management reporting.
• Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint & Excel.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP.
• Experience working in SAP; SAP EPM & BI preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate financial data into insights.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and management presentations.
• Develop and maintain annual budgets, forecasts, and financial models with cross-functional partners.
• Support month-end and year-end financial reporting for Demand Chain and Yamaha Business Units.
• Monitor spending, operating/capital expenses, revenue, and key metrics.
• Perform SAP EPM & BI maintenance reports and improvements.
• Prepare ad hoc analyses and presentations for management.
