Partner is seeking a Financial Analyst III in Englewood, CO to prepare monthly network payments and accruals, reconcile them, and provide financial analysis and reporting for the Accounting department. The role requires independent workload management and timely delivery.

You will analyze financial data, support budgets and forecasts, and contribute to monthly, quarterly, and year-end close with accurate journal entries and stakeholder reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, MIS.
• 5–8 years of related experience in industry or similar setting.
• Experience in industry and/or public accounting.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Ability to manage work with large data sets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and variable schedules.
• Proficient with Essbase, Oracle, Teradata, SQL, and Excel.

Responsabilités

Financial Analyst III

Location: Englewood, CO

Type: Contract

Our client is seeking a Financial Analyst III who will prepare monthly network payments and accruals. Also responsible for reconciling payments and accruals while also providing financial analysis, reporting, and general support for the Accounting department. Able to manage time and workload independently.

Key Accountabilities:

• Tracks and analyzes key financial metrics and operational procedures to foster process improvements. Drives operational efficiencies and cost savings.
• Analyzes, reviews, and modifies large data sets using various database and querying solutions in order to be able to calculate payments and accruals and provide analytics / reporting for transactional products.
• Participates in the development and utilization of financial models and analysis. Helps to prepare budgets and forecasts as directed by Manager.
• Evaluates financial risks and opportunities by creating and reviewing operational and financial metrics.
• Assists with the preparation of weekly, monthly, and annual financial reports.
• Researches variance to budget and forecast through detailed operational and financial metrics and explains results.
• Prepares and reviews journal entries during month- and year-end processes.
• Consistently exercises independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
• Prepares and distributes financial reports and analysis to support the monthly, quarterly and year-end financial close processes to ensure that financial statements are accurate and complete in all aspects.
• Prepares and analyzes monthly invoices and accruals to ensure accuracy to financial statements and subscriber reporting, which includes the research, resolution, and communication of any potential issues or misstatements.
• Assists in process improvement and standardization projects by identifying risk areas and recommendations for improvements.
• Reviews audits and develops a process to streamline the efforts in the research, analysis, and tracking in this area.
• Performs various ad hoc projects including researching, analyzing, and summarizing data / analysis requests as assigned.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, Finance, MIS.
• Generally requires 5-8 years related experience in industry or similar work environment.
• Experience in industry and/or public accounting or similar work environment.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Ability to manage work with large data sets.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong knowledge of Essbase and experience with Oracle.
• Strong knowledge of database tools (Teradata, SQL, Microsoft Visual Studio).
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights, weekends and variable schedules as necessary.
