TalentBurst, an Inc 5000 company, is seeking a Financial Analyst III in Culver City, CA for a hybrid role (Tue–Thu onsite; Mon & Fri remote). The team focuses on royalty payments, reviewing invoices, and maintaining data in internal systems. Excellent communication and finance skills are required.

Ideal candidates have finance experience, SAP familiarity, and attention to detail. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred. This is a 12+ month opportunity with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Post-graduate finance experience preferred with strong numerical accuracy.
• Experience with payment processing in a corporate environment.
• Familiarity with music publishing royalty payments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Bundle and propose payments for music publishing invoices (iTunes, Client Music).
• Investigate variances and resolve or escalate validation errors.
• Perform user acceptance testing across related systems.
• Account reconciliation and handling external partner invoice queries.
• Provide email support for Client's self-service portal for external partners.

Position: Financial Analyst III
Location: Culver City, CA - Hybrid (Tuesday‑Thursday onsite, Monday & Friday remote)
Interview Mode: Video
Duration: 12+ months

Manager Notes

Looking for a post‑graduate candidate with strong finance experience, detail‑oriented, and good with numbers. Preferable experience with DSP platforms (YouTube, Spotify), entertainment/music publishing business, and royalty payments.

Interview Process

Single interview round. Manager will share an Excel test separately. Excellent communication skills required.

Job Summary

Team focuses on royalty payments. Review invoices, calculate and propose royalty payments, and maintain data in internal systems.

Experience

• Accounting and/or finance experience with payment processing in a corporate environment
• Experience with SAP or other enterprise application software systems
• Database data entry experience
• Music publishing royalty payment experience is a strong plus

Duties
