Job summary

US Tech Solutions in Irvine is seeking a Finance/Accounting professional for a 6-month contract with a hybrid onsite schedule. The role covers planning, budgeting, variance analysis, and monthly close processes to ensure accurate financial results.

You will collaborate with finance leadership, develop meaningful management reports, and support process improvements across planning systems and reporting tools. Excel, SAP, SAC, and Power BI are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting is required.
• CPA or MBA is a plus.
• Minimum 3+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience.
• Strong financial, analytical and problem solving skills.
• Proficient in Excel with ability to build models and analyze data.
• Experience with SAP, SAC and Power BI is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and support monthly, quarterly, and annual plan, LRP and LBEs, including P&L, headcount, balance sheet and capital budgeting.
• Partner with brand finance and FP&A to propose budget-compliant solutions.
• Provide variance analysis and develop management reporting schedules.
• Support monthly close processes, ensuring timely and accurate results.
• Prepare and review monthly management reporting packages with business units.
• Collaborate to enable informed decision-making and provide routine business support.
• Provide financial reviews and approvals for POs and invoices.
• Support key projects (planning system standardization, reporting, optimization) and drive improvements.
• Assist with ad hoc analysis; may manage staff directly or indirectly.

• Oversee/support all aspects of monthly, quarterly, and annual Plan, LRP and LBEs as required, including P&L, headcount, balance sheet, and capital using planning system.

• Proficient Excel skills. Comfortable jumping into Excel Models and operate individually in it with some guidance and direction.
• Knowledge of SAP, SAC and Power BI are a plus.
