Job summary

Seneca Resorts & Casinos is seeking a Financial Analyst II to support budgeting, forecasting, and operational reporting across properties. You will maintain PM10, build financial models for capex, and assist the Budgeting & Analysis Manager with monthly and quarterly projections.

The role requires 3-5 years of financial or operational analysis, a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance, and strong Excel/PowerPoint skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• 3–5 years of financial or operational analysis experience is required.
• Gaming industry experience is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Infinium, Showcase, ACSC and Infor PM10 is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the Infor PM10 system for annual budget and forecasts.
• Prepare and maintain financial modeling on capital expenditures for all properties.
• Update Daily Operation Report expenses to reflect actual costs.
• Assist Budgeting & Analysis Manager with monthly, quarterly and annual forecasting.
• Prepare flux analyses monthly/quarterly/annual versus budget and prior year.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly operational reports and data tables.
• Attend property monthly financial reviews and present analyses.
• Provide customer service to patrons and maintain professionalism.

The Financial Analyst II prepares all properties budgets, assists the department Manager in forecasting property revenues & expenses, and prepares property operational reports. All functions will be performed within the guidelines of the Seneca Gaming Corporation's policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain the Infor PM10 system, which allows for the entry of the annual operational budget and annual forecasts.
• Prepare and maintain financial modeling on capital expenditures for all properties
• Modify and maintain the Daily Operation Report expenses, with focus on accuracy to actual costs and updated reporting to suit the corporation's needs.
• Assist the Budgeting & Analysis Manager with monthly, quarterly and annual forecasting of the Corporation's revenues and expenses.
• Prepare flux analyses, on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis, to budget and prior year financials.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly operational reports and associated data tables.
• Compile and prepare corporations quarterly operation presentation.
• Attend and participate in property monthly financial reviews.
• Assist Operations and Marketing Analysts with projects and analyses, as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service to all patrons and communicates in a pleasant, friendly, and professional manner at all times.
• Maintain a professional work environment with supervisors and staff.
• Meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies.
• Attend all necessary training and meetings.
• Assist in other projects, as directed.

• Hours are determined by 24-hour schedule.
• Other duties may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

Education/Experience:

• Must be 18 years of age or older upon employment.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Three (3) to five (5) years financial or operational analysis experience required, preferably in the gaming industry.
• Experienced in Microsoft Excel and Power Point.
• Experienced with MS Access and Word preferred.
• Experienced with Infinium, Showcase, ACSC and Infor PM10 preferred.

Language Skills and Reasoning Ability:

• Ability to communicate effectively both written and orally.
• Ability to write routine correspondence and to speak effectively to the public, employees and customers.
• Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with the customers and employees.
• Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.

• Must be able to sit for extended periods working at a computer terminal.

Salary Starting Rate: $61,336.77 Compensation is negotiable based on experience and education. Each position has varying minimum qualifications. In the absence of fully qualified candidates, some requirements may be waived.
