Job summary

BuildASign, based in Austin, TX, seeks an entry- to associate-level Financial Analyst to review performance across departments, analyze data, and drive profitability improvements. This role emphasizes budgeting, reporting, and data-driven decision making within a growing organization.

You will partner with finance and operations to deliver monthly and quarterly analyses, support pricing decisions, and develop budgeting templates while adapting to a dynamic environment in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field.
• 0-3 years of experience in finance.
• Proficient in Excel with the aptitude to learn more.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong business acumen and knowledge of financial principles and accounting standards.
• Reside in Texas and available for hybrid/in office work.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual analysis of budget to actual and prior period financial results.
• Work with manager and Finance team to prepare financial reports for departments to present to management and stakeholders.
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis of profitability of brand lines, products, and processes to support decision‑making.
• Analyze effects of product mix, volumes, pricing, and other factors on profitability.
• Perform pricing analysis for intercompany sales to achieve win/win scenarios for all parties.
• Collaborate with team members and create budgeting templates to contribute to the annual budgeting processes.
• Proactively identify issues or areas of improvement and bring solutions to management.
• Track and analyze unlevered free cash flow.
• Complete special projects as assigned.]
